Sister Billie Serena Davis was 52, and departed this life Friday January 8, 2021 in Marion County. She was the mother of Andrew Davis, Antonio Davis, Andria Davis, Adrienne Davis, Alexandria Davis and Diamond Brown.
Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel on Sunday January 17, 2021 at 2:00 pm. She will be laid to rest at the Greater Singletary AME Church, Cemetery, Marion. Services will be live stream on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page.

Billie Serena Brown was born June 1, 1968 in Marion, South Carolina. She departed this life and gain her wings January 8. 2021.
Billie attended Terrell’s Bay High School in Centenary, South Carolina. She worked at SoPacko, Sav-Way, Miss June’s Café and Bob’s Grocery.
Billie enjoyed dancing, singing, rocking in her chair, listening to gospel music, talking her mess, she wouldn’t be Billie if she didn’t. Anyone that knew Billie know she was/is quick to tell anyone how she felt, and with a heart like hers, she always meant well. Billie loved her grand kids.
Billie is preceded in death by her mother Rose Marie Brown, her daughter; Althea S. Davis, two sisters; Diane Brown and Cynthia Moody.
Billie leaves to cherish her loving memories with her sons; Andrew Davis, Antonio Davis, her daughters; Andria Davis, Andrienna Davis, Alexandria Davis and Diamond Brown. Her in laws Alvin and Mae Edwards, her siblings; Beverly A. Kelly, Kathleen E. Davis, Rita Davis, Hines Ellison III, Micheal Leonard and Angenette Weaver, her grands; Janyia, David, Jaden, Jada, M.J., Ky, Mariah, Andrew Jr., Anton, Caleb, Makayla and Amira, aunts; Gladys Lewis, Sylvia (Ernest) Mickens, Teresa (Tim) Brown, Jennifer Brown, uncle; JC (Shirley) Brown, a few special friends Harry Grant, Micheal Washington, Edith Williams, Leaster Commedo, Alicia Williams, Corretta Brown, Frances and Shirika., a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, great aunts, uncles and friends.
The family of Sister Billie Serena Davis , in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community, has decided to hold a private 50 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following. While the Davis family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.
