Betty Page Obituary

Sister Betty Joyce Page was 58, and departed this life Saturday October 29, 2022 in Florence County. You may visit the family at 302 Herb Levy Rd. Marion.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Canaan Land Revivalistic Center, Marion on Saturday November 5, 2022 at 3:00 pm. Services will be live-streamed on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page. 

~ Obituary ~

Betty Joyce Clark Page the daughter of the late James David Clark Sr and Lillie Mae Butler Clark was born in Mullins, South Carolina on August 3, 1964. She departed her earthly life on Saturday, October 29, 2022, in Florence, SC after a long illness. 

Betty attended Lake View High School, where she received her diploma.  She was a very sweet, loving, and caring person.  Betty was known for welcoming any and everyone into her home.  She was always willing to feed people and if needed, a place to stay.  She loved gatherings with her family enjoying each other.  Betty attended Canaan Land Revival Temple, where she loved cooking and helping in any way that she could. 

Betty was united in holy matrimony to O’neal Page.  

Betty was preceded in death by her husband O’Neal Page.  Her parents James David and Lillie Mae Clark, her son Javorris Clark.  Also, her granddaughter, Tamiya McKelvy and grandson Ty’Shawn Page.  One brother, James David Clark Jr and one sister, Geneva Clark. 

Those left to cherish her fond and loving memories are: her three children; one son, Dedrick Clark of Mullins SC; two daughters LaTosha (Jimmy Jr) Clark-McKelvy of Marion, SC, LaTonya Clark of Mullins, SC;  ten grandchildren: Jamiya McKelvy, Jah’Resha McKelvy, Ja’Kaylay McKelvy, O’maury McKelvy of Marion, SC, JuQuan Roberts, Issac Roberts of Mullins, SC, Ja’Dell Clark, Jayden Roberts, Javorria Clark and Jayla Cousins all of Jeffersonville, Indiana;  a daughter-in-law JoDae Cousins Clark of Jeffersonville, Indiana;  one brother, Levi Clark of Myrtle Beach, SC; eight sisters, Sarah Wilkins of Neptune, NJ, Vivian Clark-Edwards of Aiken, SC, Carolyn (Richard) Williamson of Durham, NC, Geraldine(Billy) Clark Blackmon of Mullins, SC, Katrina Campbell of Jacksonville, FL, Annie Ruth Clark Sumpter of Durham, NC, Barbara Johnson of Trenton, NJ, Shela Genwright of Marion, SC; a brother-in-law Gile Campbell of Fork, SC;  a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.   

 

The family of Sister Betty Joyce Page in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state, and local community,  will hold a 100 person or less funeral service for their loved one with interment immediately following. While the Page family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly, and those with chronic health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.
