~ Obituary ~

Mother Annie Ruth Walton Hill was born on October 15, 1943 to Elder Jerome and Walton and Mo Isreal Lee Burch Walton. The oldest child born to this union. She was raised in a Pentecostal Apostolic Faith church environment, was baptized in Jesus Name. Annie attend and graduated from the public school system in Miami Florida. After graduating from public school, she continued her education in the field of nursing, where she obtained a nursing registered nursing license degree.

Annie was a proud mother and her whole life focused around her children, and younger siblings. She was the silent monarch. If you did not know her you would think, she so calm, nothing excites her. Many times she have been looked over because of her calmness, when all the time she would be working it out in her brain. She was a woman of a few words, that gave firm advice on what she believed what was right and what was wrong. She didn’t care who you were, if you act in any way that you didn’t want her advice she would just sit back and let you make a mess. She love to say ”you made your bed hard, my, just go lay down. She say “there ain’t but one way and that’s the right way.” But she had a unique way of not making you feel so bad, in her sweet voice she would say, do what you want to do, but let it be the right thing, say what you want to say but let it be the truth. She love her baby sister, many times she would say, I’m going with you Sis. cause I’m going to need you to stay calm.

Annie met and married Mr. Andrew Hill and from this union were five children were born: Denise Sweet (d) , Tangulia Fish (d), Andrew Hill Jr. (April), Robin (Michael ) Antonio Hill (Karen). Brothers and sisters, Betty Grant (d), Rosetta Simmons, Phillip Martin (d), Alphonso Martin, Jerome Walton (Mary), Charlie (d), Cleveland Walton (Dianne), Naomi Knight (James). A very special friend Mr. Jeffery Nichols, who supported Annie and the family all through out these difficult times. And a host of grands, great-grands, relatives and friends.
