Sister Ann Carolyn Davis was 71, and departed this life on Wednesday July 1, 2020 in Marion County. She was the mother of Anthony Wayne Davis McNeil and Tonya Davis. You may visit the family at 1106 Cartrell Brown Dr. Marion.
Memorial services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel on Monday July 6, 2020 at 1:00 pm. The family will provide a guest list of 50 or less people. Services will be live stream on the Jackson & McGill Facebook Page.

Ms. Ann Carolyn Davis was born August 16, 1948 in Marion SC., to the late Albert and Rosa (Obie) Davis.
Carolyn accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Greater Saint Luke Baptist Church. She attended Marion Public Schools. She was later employed at Russell Stover’s Candies where she worked for eight years.
Besides spending time with her family and friends, Carolyn loved to cook. She also loved taking to her friends and family on the phone. Carolyn enjoyed getting dressed up and going to church.
Carolynn was preceded in death by: Albert and Rosa (Obie) Davis (Parents); sisters: Toni Shannon, Pauline McGriff, Ruth Williams and Elizabeth Davis; brothers: Kenny Shannon, Sherman Owens and General Lee.
She leaves to cherish loving memories: her son Anthony (Ruhi) McNeil of Cumming GA; two daughters: Tonya Davis of Allenhurst, GA and Berndette Treadway of Columbia, SC; eight grandchildren: Taylor Wilson, Jamie (Shaleah) Barr and Bria (Michael) of Hinesville, GA, Brianna Barr of Marion, SC, Antasia McNeil, of Mullins, SC, Myra McNeil of Allenhurst, GA, Darius Law and Alexis Dawson of Marion; six great grandchildren: Rashod, Ta’Mari, Jaylon, Kaleb, Aiden and Michaela; one sister: Sallie L. Henderson, of Wheaton MD; special great niece: Ja’Mya Shannon, special grandson: Davin Dixon, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family of Sister Ann Carolyn Davis, in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community, has decided to hold a private 50 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following. While the Davis family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.
