Mother Angelina Ortiz was 88, and departed this life Tuesday March 3, 2020  at her home in Marion, SC. 

She was the wife of Julio Ortiz, the mother of Jose' Antonio Ortiz (deceased), David Ortiz, Felipe Ortiz and Beatrice Ortiz.

Mrs. Angelina Marie Ortiz born Angiolina Spampanato completed her earthly journey on March 3, 2020 at her home in Marion, SC. Angelina was the daughter of Mr. Aniello and Mrs.. Olga Maclach Spampanato. She was born on November 30, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY. She attended the public schools of Brooklyn and worked as a nutritionist and nurses’ aide for many years.

On June 22, 1974 in Yonkers, NY she married the love of her life Julio Ortiz. To this union four children were born. One son, Jose’ Antonio Ortiz preceded her in death.

Angelina leaves to cherish her memories her devoted husband and caretaker: Julio Ortiz of Marion, SC, her children; David Ortiz ( his wife Sylvia) of France, Felipe Ortiz and Beatrice Elena Ortiz ( her husband Benjamin Villalobo) both of New York. A daughter-in-law; Anna Ortiz- Antonio’s wife), six grandchildren; Christopher, Stephany, Lucas, Marco, Karla and Carol, one darling great- granddaughter; Melody, other precious relatives and supportive and loving friends.
