Sister Angela S. Taylor was 53, and departed this life Tuesday March 28, in New Jersey. She was the daughter of Glenda Taylor.
Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Jerusalem AME Church, Hemingway, SC. on Saturday April 8, at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest at Jerusalem AME Church Cemetery.
~ Obituary ~
Angela Starr Taylor, daughter of Mrs. Glenda Taylor and the late Robert Lee Taylor, was born in Newark, New Jersey on May 12, 1969. She resided in Edison, NJ until she departed this life on March, 28 2023. Angela was one of three children, one of which preceded her by death, Robert Taylor Jr.
Angela, a member of Speak Life Ministry, completed her education at Camden Middle School, Irvington High School, and Katharine Gibbs College in New Jersey. She was a devoted employee to Automatic Data Processing in Florham Park, NJ for 15 years. There she obtained her Property & Casualty License and spent time mentoring new employees to the company.
When Angela wasn’t working, she loved to travel, spend time with her nephews, go see a good movie, and dance to jersey house music. She was also the fashionista of the family, always shopping, wearing makeup, perfume, and styling hair.
Angela just loved having fun. She would make jokes and sing all the time. She had a great spirit for helping people and loved her family and friends dearly.
Angela leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Glenda Taylor, her sister, Veronica Taylor, her brother – in -law, Jacques Cayemitte, nephews, Ja’Quez, Jayvier, and Jordan Cayemitte, 5 aunts, Jean Haith of NJ , Fontaine Hester of North Carolina, Retha Hall of South Carolina, Mable Haith of NJ, Maudella Greene and uncle Frankie Greene of NJ. She also leaves a host of cousins and friends to cherish her memory as well.
