Bro. Willie Joe Burroughs, 53 , departed this life on Thursday April 26, 2018 at his home in Marion County. He was the brother of Frank Morris. You may visit the family at 306 Avon Rd. Marion.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel Sunday May 6, 2018 at 3:00pm. He will be laid to rest in the Jackson & Daughters Cemetery, Marion.

~Obituary~

Willie Joe Burroughs departed this life at home on Thursday April 26, 2018. He was the son of the late Coreatha Burroughs.

“Joe” as we respectfully called him was born November 24, 1964 in Marion County. He was a graduate of Marion High School Class of 1983. He worked with Bruce’s Backhoe Service for many years. He enjoyed life and working in the neighborhood helping with yardwork.

He was preceded in death by one brother James Robert Burroughs.

Joe leaves to cherish one brother Frank (Annette) Morris of Marion, SC, one uncle Johnny Mack Burroughs of the home, two nephews Frank and Benjamin, four nieces; Katrina, Shadonna, Erica Alexis, four great nephews and five great nieces. Special friends Ruby Cross and The Barr Family. A host of cousins and friends.
