Brother Ronald L. Jackson, 55, departed this life Saturday August 17, 2019 in Marion County. He was the father of Vanessa Jackson. You may visit the family at 206 T.J. Moore St. Latta, SC.
Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the True Fellowship Church, Inc. Marion Friday August 23, 2019 at 1:00 pm. He will be laid to rest in the Old Neck Cemetery, Britton's Neck, SC.

On the night of Saturday, August 17, 2019 at MUSC Hospital in Marion, SC Brother Ronald Lee Jackson “Ricky” entered eternal rest at the age of 54. Brother Ricky was the first born on January 14, 1964 of six children who were parented by the late Francis Ronald Jackson and Esther Lee Jackson.
Ricky attended the schools of Marion County of Marion, SC. He was a graduate of Marion High School where he was an alumnus of the Class of 1982. After graduation, he began to work at Dillon Yarn in Dillon, SC for a couple of years until he taught himself to play the piano. He was previously playing at Anointed Vessel of Deliverance Ministries of Florence, SC where he joined as a member. He also played for the late Prophet Williams and a host of other ministries.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Fannie Hemingway-Davis and Eugene Davis; his paternal grandparents: Lula Spain Jackson Smith and Ben Jackson; his siblings: Chomas Lee Jackson and Donella Jackson.
Ricky leaves to cherish his loving memories~ his step-children: Vanessa (Kadeem) Carmicheal, Tina Reaves both of Dillon, SC, and Ernest D. Reaves of Florence, SC; Eight grandchildren: Javonta Reaves, Kevin Reaves, Kanessa Reaves all of Dillon, SC, Ernest Reaves III of Florence, SC, Innocent Tyson, Keymonia Tyson both of Dillon, SC, Temple Reaves of Latta, SC, and Amira Mallry of Little Rock, SC; his mother: Esther Lee Jackson of Marion, SC; two sisters: Betty Ann Jackson and Fannie (Eddie) Jackson-Brantley both of Marion, SC; one brother: Levern Jackson of Marion, SC; two special cousins: Timothy (Alisha) Woodberry of Kingstree, SC and Tommy Earl Jackson of Conway, SC; a special uncle: Bishop Mack (Mattie) Davis of Marion, SC; a special aunt: Geraldine Woodberry; a special niece who was like a daughter: Marqueta Jackson of Florence, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
