Patricia White Floyd

Sister Patricia White Floyd, 68, departed this life Friday July 19, 2019 at her home in Marion County. She was the mother of Mark White and Ronnie White. You may visit the family at 2805 Foxworth Rd. Marion. 

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the St. Mary AME Church, Marion Saturday July 27, 2019 at 3:00 pm. She will be laid to rest in the Franklin Cemetery, Marion.

~Obituary~

"For I am now ready to be offered and the time of my departure at hand . I have fought a good fight , I have finish my course, I have kept the faith".    Timothy 4:6-7

No teary eyes nor weep for me. Rejoice in my sleep, God has set me free. Remember I love you , as I leave you behind, let go and let God, fill you with a peace of mind.

Patricia Ann White Floyd, affectionately know as "Pat" was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on August 4,1950 at Margarette Hayes Hospital in Jersey City, New Jersey. The second oldest of nine to the late Clemon White and Jannie White departed her earthly life on Friday July 19,2019 at her home in Marion, South Carolina . She attended Snyder High School in Jersey City, New Jersey. She worked at Palisade Hospital in Jersey City, New Jersey. Pat met and married the late Ronnie Floyd to this union three children was born. She moved to Marion, South Carolina where she was employed with Marion Hospital System until she retired. Patricia knew the Lord early in life and was baptized and received the gift of the Holy Spirt. She was a member of the St. Mary A.M.E. Church and also the WNS Tent #6. Seven siblings preceded her in death and her son John" Grandpa" Floyd.
 
Pat leaves to cherish fond and loving memories her sons; Mark White and Ronnie White both of Jersey City, New Jersey, Willie Hemmingway of Marion South Carolina, daughter Sumika Jackson of Florida , sister Ruth Wiggs of AZ, eight grands,  five great-grands, special friends Patricia Johnson of Atlanta GA, Butch (Vern) of Marion, South Carolina. Goddaughter Sharon Ford, special daughters; Lemaeka Davis, Meek Meek, special nieces; Pooh Bear, Timica, Nina, Sheriita, Precious, special nephews; Tyrone, Tray, Mike, Man, Pumpkins, special cousin Mary Buey of Patterson, New Jersey, six sister-in-laws, five brother -in -laws, two great aunts a host of family and friends.
