Sister Mildred Foxworth Ivory, 73, departed this life Saturday July 20, 2019 in Marion County. She was the wife of Nathaniel Ivory. You may visit the family at 3063 Ammons Loop, Marion.
Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the New Greater Singletary AME Church Friday July 26, 2019 at 10:30 am. She will be laid to rest in the Florence National Cemetery, Florence, SC.

On Saturday July 20, 2019 Mildred Ivory left this earthly home for her heavenly home. Mildred Ivory, the daughter of Lola Bell Foxworth and the late Shavis Foxworth Sr. was born in Marion SC on August 7, 1945.
Mildred received her education in the public schools in Marion South Carolina. She was a graduate of the Johnakin High Class of 1965.
During her early years she worked at Souther Packing. Mildred was employed with Care Lee Hosiery for many years, and afterwards with Home Health Care, where she cared for many others until her health failed.
She accepted Christ at an early age. She was s life long member of Greater Singletary AME Church were she served faithfully and on many auxiliaries; Senior Choir, Stewardess, Usher Board, Class Leader, Hospitality Committee, Sunday School Teacher Class #3. She was also a member of Star of Bethlehem Tent #30, where she served as Senior Matron, Associate Matron, Queen Esther Chapter 239, OES Universal, Rains, SC. People Benevolent Society, Wahee, SC.
Mildred married Nathaniel Ivory on December 25, 1993.
She was preceded in death by one brother Carol (Vivian) Foxworth.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Nathaniel Ivory of the home, three stepchildren; Kevin Ivory, Oscar Ivory, Vanessa Ivory, six step-grands and two great-grands. A very loving mother; Lola Bell Foxworth, her brothers; Shavis Foxworth Jr., Thomas (Linda) Foxworth, Theodore Foxworth, Wallace Foxworth, Jerome (Glaris Bethea) Foxworth, Clifton (Mary) Foxworth, Carlton (Judy) Foxworth, Kelvin Foxworth, Maurice Foxworth, three brothers-in-law; Charles Ivory, Florence, SC, Harrison Ivory, Marion, SC, Walter Ivory, East Orange, New Jersey, three sisters-in-law; Sarah Ivory, East Orange, New Jersey, Cora Redding, Columbus, GA, Rosa (Anthony) Smith, Florence, SC. A very special cousin/little sister Verdella Johnson, a special niece and nurse as she went through her illness Tyieshela Adams. A very special friend Ella White of Marion, SC, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
