Dr. Rev. Matthew Graves Sr. 72, departed this life Saturday August 10, 2019 in Columbia, SC. He was the husband of Daisy Graves and the father of Martina Graves, Matthew Graves, Jr., Nelope Ogunyemi, Tonya Williams, Vertell Graves, Tara Rollins, Sonya Woodberry, Tawanda Williams, and Tabitha Sharper.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Zion Mill Creek Baptist Church, 97 Mill Creek Pkwy. Columbia, SC 29209, Sunday August 18, 2019 at 2:00 pm. He will be laid to rest in the Fort Jackson Cemetery, Columbia, Monday August 19, 2019 at 2:00 pm.
