Margaret Staggers

Sis. Margaret Staggers, 78, departed this life on Wednesday September 12, 2018 in Marion County. 

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Refuge Family  Worship Center, Marion Thursday September 27, at 12:00noon. She will be laid to rest in the  Devotion Gardens Cemetery, Mullins.

“Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me in my father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.”

Margaret Staggers was born to the late Marion and Margaret Staggers on March 26, 1940. She was reared in Marion County. Margaret entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Carolina Hospital Systems in Marion, SC.

She received her education at Johnakin High School in Marion SC. At an early age she was baptized and joined St. John AME Church where she served as a faithful Choir Member and a Usher. Margaret was well known for her dedication to her family and love for children.

Once again, in love and infinite wisdom, God has sent His death angel into the hospital, this time releasing from suffering and calling “into that new and greater life” the gentle spirit of Ms. Staggers on September 12, 2018.

She was preceded in eternal rest by her brother Marion Staggers, brother in law and sister in law Walter Woods and Maxie Staggers.

Margaret was blessed with her sister Mrs. Miriam Woods, Marion SC, also cherishing her memories are two nephews, three nieces and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
