Luther Levon King

Bro. Luther Levon King, 40, departed this life Friday April 12, 2019 in Marion County. He was the son of Doris Edwards. You may visit the family at 413 S. Withlacoochee Ave. Marion.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Marion Christian Fellowship Church, Marion Friday April 19, 2019 at 1:00 pm. He will be laid to rest in the St. James AME Church Cemetery.

Luther Levon King aka “Half” was born on October 8, 1978 to Doris King and the late Luther Isreal. He departed this life son April 12, 2019.

He received his education in the Marion County Public School System. He was a devoted baseball player as well as a coach. He touched many lives in the community with his love for baseball and the ability to coach others.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories his mother Doris King, three aunts Alfreda Isreal, one very special aunt: Myrtle Davis, Ophelia King all of Marion, SC, two very special uncles; Russell King, Robert Lindsey Davis of Marion, SC, two sisters Isis King of Las Vegas N.V., Lydia Isreal of Marion, SC, two brothers Lucas Isreal, LaJuane Hines of Marion, SC, two surrogated sisters; Elaine Eaddy, Delisha Rowell of Marion, SC, one niece; Shiqasha King, two great nieces; Jordyn Woodbury, Marlee Godbolt all of the home, and a host of other relatives and many special and loyal friends.
