Lue Bertha Thomas

Mother Lue Bertha Thomas departed this life on Friday December 14, 2018 in Baltimore Maryland. Mother Lue Bertha Thomas was the mother of Mary Thomas. 

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel Thursday December 27, 2018 at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest in the Jackson & Daughters Cemetery, Marion.

~ Obituary ~

Our beloved Lue Bertha Thomas was born on February 2, 1942 in Marion County, South Carolina to the late Louise Patterson Brantley and Jack Thomas.  She departed this earthly life on Friday, December 14, 2018 in Baltimore, MD.

Lue moved to New York City and worked as an Operator until she retired.  She then moved to Baltimore, Maryland and stayed there until her demise.

Lue was known as the type of person who’d give her last dime to make sure someone was okay.  She loved God and her family.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories ~ four children: Ronald Thomas, Mary Thomas both of New York, Andre Thomas, Avis Thomas both of Baltimore, MD; two grandchildren: Devin Thomas, Shanelle Murray both of New York; her only great grandchild: Dawn Thomas of New York; one sister: Virginia Godbolt of Marion, SC; five brothers: Wallace Patterson, William Patterson, Edward Patterson all of South Carolina, Bobby Patterson of Baltimore, MD, John Hemmingway of New York and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
