Levander Davis

Bro. Levander Davis, 84, departed this life on Sunday June 17, 2018 at his residence in Marion County. He was the husband of Josephine Davis, the father of Bruce Hudson, Bryan Epps, Brett Epps, Brandon Epps, Bridgett Holden and Bernette Epps. You may visit the family at 609 Gregg St. Marion.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Greater Singletary AME Church Monday June 25, 2018 at 11:30am. He will be laid to rest in the Florence National Cemetery.

Obituary

Mr. Levander Davis known to many as Macky  Boy was the oldest child of the late Mr. Nathan & Mrs. Sarah Davis. He was born on March 19, 1934 in Marion County. He departed this earthly life on June 17, 2018 at home with his loving wife and niece Barbara A. Washington at his side.

He received his education from the public school of Marion County, South Carolina. He went into the United States Army for two years. After serving his country he worked for the United States Postal Service for twenty-seven years, until his retirement.

He was a member of Greater Singletary AME Church, where at an early age, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior.

He was preceded in death by one sister Molly Davis and one daughter Brenda Waters.

He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories his loving wife of the home Josephine L. Davis, four sons; Bruce (Timmi) Hudson, Bryan Epps, Brett (Mel) Epps, Brandon Epps, two daughters Bridgett Holden and Bernette Epps all of Baltimore, Maryland, thirteen grandchildren Eryka, Zachary, Eryel, Kayla, Kristen, Jesus, Brett Jr., Alyssa, Bruce, Bryan, Lillian Maci, three great grands; Anatasia, Carter and Maicah; one very special great great niece Yakia N. Davis,  two nieces , three nephews and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
