Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Wise Chapel AME Church, Marion Saturday July 7, 2018 at 1:00pm. He will be laid to rest in the Jobs Cemetery, Marion.

Brother Leon Davis Jr. was born in Marion County South Carolina on March 20, 1956 to the late and blessed Bertha Mae Davis and Leon Davis Sr. He departed this earthly life and transitioned to his new home on Monday July 2, 2018 at Carolina Hospital System of Marion.
Leon Davis Jr. or as everyone called him, “June” was baptized under the clergy of Wise Chapel. He worked at Heritage Sportswear in his early years. And done some farm work. He was well known and loved by all who knew him. He was a fun- loving person, with a crazy sense of humor. He was united in Holy matrimony to Mrs. Mavis Coke from Wauchula Florida and one son was born. He leaves them to cherish his love and memories. One son; Leon Davis Anderson, eight brother and sisters; Robert (Dana) Davis, Glen Leroy Davis, Mary (Legrandt) Allen, Doris Davis, Harriet (Robert) McFarland all of Marion, SC. Verlinda Davis of Mullins, SC, Denise (Paul) Coles of Johnsonville, SC and Katherine Davis of Baltimore, MD, three aunts; Dorothy Hatcher, Sandra Robinson and Pearlie Mae McGee all of Marion, SC, two uncles; Willie Lee Garner and Johnny Garner also of Marion, SC. A longtime neighbor and friend Hawatha Hudson (Tiny) a second oldest brother as he called him and very good friend Slim Jim Allen, a whole lot of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, also a very blessed niece Lakesha Davis of Baltimore, MD.
