Bro. Lawrence Williamson Jr. 84, departed this life on Thursday June 29, 2017 at his home in Loris, SC. He was the husband of Ella Mae Gerald Williamson. Visitation services are scheduled for 2:00pm Sunday July 2, 2017 at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel.

Lawrence Williamson Jr., the son of the late Rev. Lawrence Sr. and Cora B. Williamson, was born on April 10, 1933, in Marion, SC.

He was called Home on June 29, 2017 , at the home in Loris, SC.

Lawrence Jr. was a Master Mechanic, School Crossing Guard for Marion County Schools, and an Excellent Farmer in Marion, SC.

In 1952, he was joined in holy matrimony to Ms. Ella Mae Gerald. To this union seven children were born.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Williams James of Brooklyn NY, Theresa (Doll Baby) Williamson Nolly of Brooklyn NY, four brothers: Esaw Williamson of Brooklyn, NY, Jacob Williamson of Bennettsville, SC, Benjamin (BJ) Williamson of Marion, SC, James Williamson of Marion, SC, one sister in-law Rosella Williamson of Rains SC, five brother in-laws, Jim James of Rains, SC, Fred Nolly of Brooklyn, NY, David Brown of Mullins, SC, LJ Pressley of Rains, SC, JC Crawford of Mullins, SC.

He leaves to cherish fond memories his loving wife, Ella Mae Williamson, seven children; Yvonne (Nehemiah) Hanner, Marion, SC, Vernie Mae (Mithcel) James, Friendship, SC, Lawrence (Yolanda) Williamson III, Marion, SC, Derrick (Tammi) Williamson, Georgia, Willie James Williamson, Rains, SC, Matthew Williamson, Loris, SC, Tommy Williamson, Marion, SC, four sisters; Margret Williamson Crawford, Mullins, SC, Mildred W.
