Latoya Ann Taccara Legette

Sister Latoya Ann Taccara Legette, 37, departed this life Friday September 20, 2019 in Florence County. She was the daughter of Melinda Langley. You may visit the family at 1146-A Strawberry St. Marion.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel Thursday September 26, 2019 at 2:30 pm. She will be laid to rest in the Jackson & Daughters Cemetery, Marion.

~ Obituary ~

Latoya Ann Taccara Legette was born August 5, 1982 and departed this life September 20, 2019 at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center in Florence, SC. Latoya was born to Melinda Legette Langley and raised by her mother in Westbury N.Y.

Latoya touched so very many hearts and accumulated so many friends who became her extended family along the way. Latoya was residing in Mullins SC at the time of her passing.

She received her education at Westbury High and completed her degree through Penn Foster.

Latoya has always known the Lord. Even at a young age there wasn’t a day that went by that she didn’t sit in her bed and read her bible.

Latoya leaves behind her loving mother; Melinda Langley,  her grandmother Annie R. Washington, six sisters; Nicole Harvey, Nikita Flores, Shanecqua Maddox, Chandirah Legette, Nyteria Legette, Tonette Legette, two brothers; Justice Fells and Charles Mayhew.

Latoya was blessed to have a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins with an over abundance of extremely close friends who became sisters and family in her heart.
