Johnny Davenport entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 8, 2019 in the Carolina Hospital System of Florence South Carolina. Johnny was born June 30,1962 in Jersey City, New Jersey to the late Johnny Davenport Sr. and Gloria Sherman Davenport.

He leaves to mourn his stepmom Dawn Placid and stepdad Mcdougal Placid. 

He received his formal education at Whitney M. Young Jr. Community School and Henry Snyder High School.

Johnny was employed as a Computer Operator at Chase Bank and Pfizer Inc.

He leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories: his loving wife Yvonne Davenport: his daughter Salena Davenport and son Johnny Davenport III; five brothers: Eric Davenport of New York, Marcus Sherman of Florida, Troy (Tasha) Davenport, Sean (Yardeline) Davenport of New Jersey, Corey (Lydia) Placid of North Carolina; three Sisters: Renee (Bruce) Powell, Tanya (Darrell) Redman, Jenise (Dennis)Cooper of New Jersey ; one sister-in-law; Mary Davis; two brother-in-law’s, Anthony (Renee) Davis of Mullins, South Carolina, Henry (Sacinia) Davis of New Jersey; four granddaughters; Ja’Miera, Key’asia, Bre’asia, and Ma’kiyah and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
