John Henry Gause

Brother John Henry Gause, 67, departed this life Saturday December 8, 2018 in Florence County. He was the father of Patrick Gause and Amy Gause. You may visit the family at 712 Gresham Rd. Gresham SC.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Bethel AME Church, Britton's Neck Thursday December 13, 2018 at 2:00 pm. He will be laid to rest in the Old Neck Cemetery, Britton's Neck.

Mt. John Henry Gause, son of the late Edgar and Nellie Gause was born on April 28, 1951 in Marion County, South Carolina. He departed this earthly life on Saturday December 8, 2018 at the McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence South Carolina.

He attended the Marion County public schools. He was employed by Wellman Industries and Conway Fitness and Wellness Center.

John Henry joined the Bethel AME Church at an early age.

He was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Ms. Carrie Bell Rogers Gause.

He was frolicsome. He loved people and enjoyed making them laugh. He also had a love for dancing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brothers: Eddie Lee and Hardy Lee, sister JoAnn.

John leaves the cherish fond memories , a son; Patrick Gause of Conway South Carolina, a daughter Amy Gause of the home,. Five grandchildren; Tieonne Gause, Ty’aishia Gause, Shymeek Gause, Ty’Qwaun Spain and Zayda Gause, two sisters; Sue (James) Bacchus and Gracie Gause, 3 brothers; Edgar (Gloria) Gause Jr., John W. (Dorothy) Gause and Leo Gause; 2 Aunts; Teresa Foxworth of Mullins S.C and Elouise Graves of Britton’s Neck, S.C ; Sister-in-laws and brother-in - laws: Mary Ann Gause, Horace lee Rogers, Mamie Rogers,  Sadie (Heyward) Graves, James Lee (Celestine) Rogers, Event Rogers, John Rogers and Shirley (Leroy) Brown; two special and devoted cousins, Eallie Gause and Esther Mae Willis; two special friends, Betty Moore and Danny Woodberry and a host of nieces, nephews, there relatives and friends.
