~ Obituary ~

Mr. John Hermia Craig was born Monday, November 16, 1959 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Freddie and Ana Whittaker Craig. John lost his battle with leukemia on Thursday, March 15, 2019 at the age of 59. He quietly transitioned from his earthly life at his home with his wife by his side.

John had many skills as an electrician and plumber and as a mechanic; but selling cars is what he loved above all else. This became his passion. He loved putting a smile on a customers face and sitting them in their new ride.
John was preceded in death by both parents, one sister: Nora Craig and one brother: Freddie Lee Craig.

Those left to cherish John's memories include his wife: Elaine Williams Craig; two sons:  Casey Craig and Frederick Craig both Marion, SC; one granddaughter: Lyric Stewart; four sisters Emma (Jimmie) Govans of Atlanta, Georgia, Beverly (Frank) Holley of Boconton, Georgia, Serena (Ronald) Gidrey of Jacksonville, North Carolina and Jacqueline Craig of Concord, North Carolina; his mother-in-law: Dorothy Williams of Marion, South Carolina; sisters-in-law: Vanessa (Dennis)Jefferson of Timmonsville, South Carolina and Jacqueline Williams of Marion, South Carolina.
One special friend who was more like a brother to John: Michael Beaty.
