Bro. Jimmy Lee Smith, 69, departed this life Monday January 7, 2019 in Marion County. He was the brother of Brenda Hughes, Annie Mae Twiggs and Howard Smith. You may visit the family at 903 Pecan St. Marion.
Memorial services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel, Marion on Saturday January 12, 2019 at 11:00 am.

Mr. Jimmie Lee Smith, known to many as “Big Jim” was the son of the late Mr. Howard and Mrs. Annie Williams Smith. He completed life’s journey on Monday January 7, 2019.
He was born on April 1, 1949 in Marion South Carolina.
He attended the public schools of Marion County.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories one daughter; Red of Florida, two sisters; Brenda Hughes of Mullins Sc and Annie Mae Twiggs of Philadelphia PA, one brother; Howard (Joan) Smith of Marion, SC, a devoted brother in law Mitchel Lee Bacon, sister in law; Julie Ann Smith, seven nieces, eight nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Big Jim’s favorite words were “Go to School”.
