Mr. Jerry Davis Jr. 59, departed this life on Friday April 28, 2017 in Marion, SC. He was the father of LaTracy Bethea. Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 noon Friday May , 2017 at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel. He will be laid to rest in the Jackson & Daughters Cemetery, Marion. Friends of the family are kindly asked to serve as flower and pall bearers.

Mr. Jerry Davis Jr. was the son of Mary Grace Lacy and the late Jerry Brantley. He was born on June 25, 1957 in Marion South Carolina. He departed his earthly life on Friday April 28, 2017 at home surrounded by family in Marion South Carolina.

Jerry attended Marion County Public Schools in Marion South Carolina. He loved hunting, fishing and playing checkers.

He was preceded in death by one brother; Johnny Davis of Ocean City, New Jersey.

Jerry leaves to cherish fond and loving memories one daughter; LaTracy Davis (Alexander) Bethea of, McCordville, Indiana, one son Demetrice Shonte Felder of Marion South Carolina, two grandchildren; Lauren and Lori Bethea both of McCordville, Indiana, eleven siblings; Mary Davis, Clifton Davis, Cherry McCall, Margaret Foxworth, Lindsay Brantley, Gerome Brantley, Jacqueline (Melvin) Robinson, Eddie (Fannie) Brantley, Lisa Angello and Oscar Razor all of Marion South Carolina and Harry (LaVerne) Brantley of Hopewell Virginia. A host of nieces, nephews and other friends. He has seven supportive friends; Clarence Heyward, Donte’ Heyward, Bobby Bethea, Steavie Maxwell, Odell Bethea, Derrick Harps and Preston Dorsey.
