Bro. Jeffrey Allen Davies, 59, departed this life Tuesday July 2, 2019 in Florence County. He was the husband of Priscilla Davies. You may visit the family at 3749 Scuts Ct. Marion, SC.

Services are scheduled to be held at the Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, Mullins Sunday July 7, 2019 at 4:00 pm. 

He will be laid to rest in the Florence National Cemetery Friday July 12, 2019 at 9:00 am.

~ Obituary ~

Mr. Jeffrey Allen Davies was the son of Patricia Prescott and Forrest C. Davies, born on July 31, 1959. He departed this life July 2, 2019.

Jeffrey attended the public school in Western Massachusetts. He graduated from Francis Marion University with a Bachelors of Science and later from Webster University, Charleston, SC with a Masters of Information Systems. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps and afterwards worked for the Dept. of Interior as a Deputy Ethics Director, where he retired in 2018. After retirement he moved to Centenary, SC with his wife.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Forrest C. Davies and a son, Carlos James.

Jeffrey leaves to cherish many fond memories with his beloved with Priscilla Davies, his children; Vanesia (Corey) D. Kelly, Columbia, SC, Jeffrey Reaves, Aynor, SC, Clifton Reaves, Lakeview, SC, Jessica (Dimitrius) Davies-Steed, Columbia, SC, Jasmine Reaves, Centenary, SC, Latisha (Kelvin) Legette, Marion, SC, Melanie Davies, Greenville, NC, seventeen grandchildren, also mourning his loss are his mother Patricia Prescott of Troy, NY, siblings; Irma Davis, Buffalo, NY, Robert Lee (Daryl) Reed, Atlanta, GA, Doloris Williams, Jacksonville, FL. Cynthia Lynne Cunha, Troy, NY, Brian C. (Dr. Elizabeth Williams) Davies, Amherst, MA, Sharon Davies, Atlanta, GA, Shelia Davis, So. Hadley, MA, and Douglas Davies, Greenfield , MA, mother -in-law Linda Smith, Marion SC, grandmother -n-law Justine R. Mullins, SC. sister-n-law, Gayle Reaves, Darlington, SC, and brother-n-law Kendrick Reaves, Marion, SC and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
