James Graham Floyd

Bro. James Graham Floyd, 59, departed this life on Saturday October 6, 2018 in Florence County. He was the father of Timica Evans and Sheritta Floyd. You may visit the family at 2911 Foxworth Rd. Marion. 

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the St. Mary AME Church Sunday October 14 at 3:00 pm. He will be laid to rest in the Florence National Cemetery Monday October 15 at 9:00 am.

On Saturday October 6, 2018, the mighty trumpet of God called Mr. James G. Floyd at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence South Carolina. God allowed his presence to be with us for 59 years.
"Boo Boo", as he was affectionately called by family and friends, was born on December 28, 1958 to the late James Lee Rowell and Mary Kate Buey.
"Boo Boo" attended Terrell's Bay High School in Centenary, South Carolina. After graduation he joined the United States Army as a Culinary Specialist. He served for twelve years from 1977-1989 where he received an honorable discharge. He was currently employed at Marion Ceramics.

"Boo Boo" was a loving father to his children and grandchildren. He was always willing to cook which is what he loved to do most. He will be missed tremendously.
He was preceded in death by his brothers; Bobby Lee Rowell, Freddie Rowell, Ronnie Floyd, John Wesley, brother in law; James Williams.

Remaining to share and cherish memories of his life are his two daughters; Timica (Gary III) Evans of Cambridge MD, Sheriita Floyd of Cambridge MD, three grandchildren; Timajah Floyd, Ja'Meir Floyd and Na-Quan Eaddy all of Cambridge MD. He also leaves to cherish many brothers and sisters; James Edward (Ethel) Rowell, Azerlene Rowell, Carolyn Rowell Williams, Irene Jacqueline Rowell, Frances Jean (Antonio) Rowell- Darden all of Boston, MA, Joe Dexter (Erinn) Rowell of Atlanta, GA, Florencenia Sanders- Bailey of Paterson, NJ, sister in law; Patricia Floyd. "Boo Boo" also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
