Sister Ester Edmonds, 72, departed this life Thursday October 10, 2019 in Marion County. She was the mother of Dante' Edmonds. You may visit the family at 500 Curry Rd. Mullins.
Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Mullins on Tuesday October 15, 2019 at 1:00 pm. She will be laid to rest the Jackson & Daughters Cemetery, Marion.

Ester Levon Edmonds was born on July 22, 1947 to the late Woodrow Wilson Smith and Hester Ellison Smith. She departed this earthly life on Thursday, October 10, 2019 after a brief illness.
Ester was educated in the public schools of the Marion County School Systems and graduated from Palmetto High School Class of 1967. She furthered her education at Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY obtaining a degree in Childhood Care in which she worked 43 years retiring in 2010.
Ester excepted Christ at an early age joining the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, Mullins, SC. She later joined Union Baptist Church, Brooklyn, NY and attended faithfully until returning to Mullins, SC in 2016. She loved the Lord and enjoyed visiting neighboring churches and attending evening programs.
Ester met and married the late William Junior Edmonds in 1976. This union was blessed with one child. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother.
Ester leaves to cherrish her memories 1 Son: Dante Edmonds of the home. Mother: Hester Smith of Mullins, SC. Sister: Darlene (Gene) Spry of Mullins, SC, 4 Aunts: Cenia Mae Leonard, Betty Godbolt, Linda Godbolt and Bert Godbolt all of Mullins, SC. 2 Uncles: James Ellison of Syracuse, NY and Dennis Godbolt of Mullins, SC. 3 Sisters-in-law: Barbara Jean Edmonds, Priscilla Edmonds and Carolyn Edmonds all of Enfield, NC. she also leaves behind, A host of nieces, nephews and friends.
