Bro. Emanuel Graves, 56, departed this earthly life Monday morning in Myrtle Beach, SC. Bro. Graves resided in Conway, SC and was a member of Bethel AME Church in Britton’s Neck, SC where he fulfilled his duties as president the Sons of Allen.
Bro. Emanuel Graves was the husband of Ms. Avon Woodberry Graves and the father of Ashley Graves and Christopher Graves. You may visit the family at 2219 Turtle Street, Conway, SC 29526.
Services for Bro. Graves will be Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Bethel AME Church (Britton's Neck, SC) at 3:00PM. Burial will be in the Devotion Gardens Cemetery - Highway 76, Mullins, SC.

Emanuel Graves
Mr. Emanuel Graves was born on Monday, March 11, 1963 in Marion County to the late Mr. & Mrs. John and Marcenia Graves. Emanuel received his education at Britton's Neck High School as part of the class of 1981. He attended Horry-Georgetown Technical College where he received an Associate Degree in Business Administration. He proudly worked as a manager for Wendy's for over 20 years.
Emanuel had a passion for being around people. In his free time he loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved making 3-D photos, reading and going to church. He was a member of Bethel AME Church in Britton's Neck, SC where he was an active member of the men's choir, trustee board and served as the president of the Son's of Allen. Whenever you met Emanuel hallways had a smile on his face.
Emanuel Graves was proceeded in death by his brothers: Timmy Graves and Johnny (Barbra) Graves. He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to his wife of 34 years Avon Graves ands two children: Ashley ( Chris) Graces and Christopher Graves of Conway, SC. Special brothers :Dale )Angie) Davis of Atlanta, Georgia, Carlos (Taina) Nieves of Conway, SC, Ricky (Carnell) Taylor of Britton's Neck, SC; a very special sister/friend: Stephanie (Dennis) Thomas of Durham, NC; Brother-in-Law: Frankie (Suanne) Woodberry of Marion, SC; Sister-in-Law: Ernestine (Clarence) Heyward of Marion, SC, Verdell ( Billy King) Ford of Lake View, SC and Albertine Woodberry of Dillon, SC; aunts: Sadie Johnson of Mullins, SC, Irene Rogers and Lecenia Davis both of Britton's Neck and Mariah (Roy) Moore of Boston, MA and Edna Graves of New Haven, CT as well as a host of nieces and nephews and cousins; and a very special friend and brother: Chris Dozier.
