Edward Raymond Manley, Jr.

Bro. Edward Raymond Manley, Jr. was 38 and departed this life on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 in Marion County.  He was the brother of Shanell Manley.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel Sunday January 12, 2020 at 2:00 pm. He will be laid to rest in the Jackson & Daughters Cemetery, Marion.

~ Obituary ~

Mr. Edward Raymond Manley Jr. aka “Eddie” departed this life January 8, 2020. He was born in Marion County on February 1, 1981 to the late Edward Raymond Manley and Evelyn Margo Bridgers. He was dearly loved.

His grandmother Mary Gore finished helping raise him. She always called him “Man.”

At an early age he attended Robinson Temple, Marion with his grandparents the Gore’s. 

He attended Marion County public schools at an early age and finished school with the Adult Aide by receiving his GED. He also loved working in stores and being around people. He love to cook, eat, have a good time and smile all day. Coffee was his favorite drink. He loved everyone with his great personality and smile. 

His step parents Edith and Alberta Legette loved him dearly. He was also loved by the Highway 76 Community, especially the Title Loan girls and the employees at the cooking restaurant. He was also loved by Yolanda Moore and family. His best thing is his coffee and you won’t go wrong. 

He leaves to cherish his memories his sister Shane M. Manley, one niece Diashea Legette and one nephew Kendrick Jones. 

Edward is very loved so please be a gentleman like him, be nice to everyone and creative.
