Mother Edna Legette, 93, departed this life Friday October 11, 2019 in Marion County. You may visit the family 809 Cooper St. Marion. 

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Bethlehem Baptist Church, Marion on Friday October 18, 2019 at 12:00 Noon. She will be laid to rest in the Devotion Gardens Cemetery, Mullins.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.

Edna Legette daughter of the late James Legette and Daisy Crawford was born March 26, 1926 in Marlboro County. God called her home peacefully on Friday October 11, 2019. 

She attended the public schools of Dillon County. She worked at Russell Stover Candies Company for many many years where she retired due to her illness.

She was married to the late Furman Legette and this union was blessed with fourteen children. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother.

She was preceded in death by five children; Mary Ann Barnes, Patresse Davis, Ben Frank Legette, Jonathan Legette and Levern Legette.

She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories her children; Daisy Scott, Geraldine Floyd of Lakeview, SC, Varioustine Mason of Lakeview, SC, Wilbert (Mamie) Legette, Thurman Legette, Juanita (Gene Sanders), Ronnie Legette (Sheryle), Donnie Fletcher, Joann (Larry) Gurley, Ann Carolyn Banks, Bobby (Louis) Legette all of Marion, SC. Stepchildren; Furman Milton Legette of Maryland, Gloria (George) Moore, Ann Carolyn (James) Kennedy and Milton Jerome White. Two daughters-in-law; Mary Legette, Patricia Legette, three sisters-in-law; Helen Rogers, Hattie Lee Legette and Virginia Legette. A host of great, great, great, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
