David Allen Cochran Jr.

Brother David Allen Cochran Jr. 32, departed this life Saturday August 24, 2019 in Colorado. He was the son of David and Christy Cochran. You may visit the family at 2520 Lebby Drive, Mullins SC 29574.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Bethlehem AME Church, Rains Tuesday September 3, 2019 at 12:00 Noon. He will be laid to rest in the St. James AME Church Cemetery, Ariel Crossroads, Marion.

~ Obituary~

"Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.  John 14:1-3

On occasions like this, it is hard to put into words the deep feelings we have for one who was loved by all who knew him. Today we have all stopped our regular activities to pay tribute to David Allen Cochran, Jr. 

The late David Allen Cochran, Jr. departed this life August 24, 2019 in Aurora, Colorado.  He was born on April 28, 1987 to David Sr. and Christy Cochran.  David Jr. accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior and was baptized when he was 10 years old. He graduated from Creek Bridge High School in 2005. He was joined in marriage to Precious Cochran in 2005 and to this union five children were born.

David Jr. worked in construction with his father from the time he was 16 years old until he graduated from high school. Then David Jr. was employed at Harbor Freight in Dillon, SC.

God in His wise providence chose to bring David, Jr. home from labor to reward.

He is survived by his wife, Precious Cochran of Marion, SC; five children, Christiana, Jeremiah, Shadzier, David III, and Zendayja; his parents David Sr. and Christy Cochran, of Rains, SC; one sister, Angel Washington of Marion, SC; one grandmother, Minnie Bell Crawford of Rains, SC;  five aunts, Mary (John) Crawford of Rains, SC; Edna (Eddie) Smith of Virginia; Rev. Patricia Cochran, and Tammy Cochran of Marion, SC; Rev Gladys (James) Pee of Centenary, SC and Sharon (Iris) Crawford of Rains, SC. Four uncles: Curtis (Sallie) Crawford of North Plainfield, New Jersey; Calvin (Angela) Crawford of Columbia, SC;  Reginald (Melissa) Crawford of Waco, Texas  and Corey Crawford of Aurora, Colorado. Two special nieces: Gabrielle and Zoe Washington and a special cousin Shakyta Traylor and a host other cousins, relatives and friends.
