Bro. Cecil J. Fore 61, better known as" Coach Fore", of Marion High School, departed this life on Friday September 15, 2017 at his home. He was the husband of Margie Fore. You may visit the family at 322 Darryl Drive, Marion.

Wake and viewing services are scheduled for Monday September 18, 2017, 6pm-8pm at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel, 612 South Main St. Marion.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00pm Tuesday September 19, 2017 at the New. Mt. Zion AME Church, 2620 Main St. Sellers. He will be laid to rest in the Devotion Gardens Cemetery, Mullins, SC.

          “Behold I show you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”              I Corinthians 15: 51-52       

Cecil Jerome Fore was born in Marion, SC on March 4, 1956 to the late Elley and Geneva Fore.  Cecil’s soul entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 15, 2017 at his home.         

Cecil graduated from Marion High School, Marion SC in 1974. He received his degrees from Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN.  He taught and coached at Marion High School for 37 years.               

Cecil married Margie James on February 12, 1983 and to this union 3 children were born; one child (Christopher) preceded him in death.       

Cecil leaves loving and fond memories to: his wife Margie of 34 years; daughter – Alecia and son – Cecil. Brothers: George (Deloris), Harry (Rose), Frazier Fore –  Marion, SC.  Sisters: Joyce Barr and, Vickie Blanchett(Matthew) - Marion SC; Mamie King and Lena Fore - Charlotte NC; Verna (Tony) Tenney - Houston TX; Fontella Burch - Sellers SC and Jackie James - Florence SC; Brothers-in-law: Marion (Doris) James – Latta SC; Bernard (Carlotta) James – Loris, SC; Laval (Rita) James – Charlotte, NC.  Sisters-in-law: Frances Whittington – Walterboro, SC; Cynthia (Robert) Spears – Latta SC; Linda James – Columbia, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
