Sis. Carolyn Grant,73, departed this life on Monday April 16, 2018 in Marion County. Sis. Carolyn Grant was the sister in law of Ezel Grant, the sister of Carlite Grant and Wendell Grant. You may visit the family at 4335 Bill Gause Rd. Mullins.
Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Old Field Missionary Baptist Church, Mullins, Sunday April 22 at 2:00pm. She will be laid to rest in the Old Field Missionary Baptist Church, Cemetery.

Sister Carolyn Grant departed this earthly life Monday April 16, 2018 in Carolina Hospital System of Marion SC. She was the daughter of the late Ms. Catherine Grant. Carolyn was the fourth child and the only girl in the midst of five brothers. God being God decided her work here was done and was time for her to come home, so he softly and lovingly called her by her name and she answered the call.
Carolyn was a native of Mullins, and she attended the Marion County Public School System. Carolyn was a very hard worker. She worked at Russell Stover Candies for over thirty years and Purdue Farms in Dillon SC. Carolyn too pride in visiting and spending time with her family when needed. Carolyn loved cooking, especially cakes. She was a member of the Old Field Missionary Baptist Church, where she loved singing on the choir, and working on the Kitchen Committee. Her favorite song was, “ I Know The Lord Laid His Hand On Me.”
She was preceded in death by three brothers Edward “Buster” Grant, Bobby “Boot” Grant and Havern Grant.
Carolyn leaves to cherish her loving memories a special friend; Mr. Walter Boatwright, two brothers; Mr. Windell Grant of Bronx New York and Mr. Carlite (Evelina) Grant of Augusta Georgia. Two sisters-in-law Mrs. Ezel Grant and Mrs. Darlene Grant both of Mullins, SC. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
