Mr. Byron Samuel Wright 34, departed this life on Friday August 11in Marion. He was the son on Betty Wright McCrae. You may visit the family at 311 Harlee Place, Marion. Service arrangements are scheduled for 2:00pm Friday August 18, 2017 at the Bethlehem Baptist Church, Marion. He will be laid to rest in the Jobs Cemetery, formely Greenlawn/McConnell Cemeteries, Marion.

Byron Samuel Wright, the middle son of Jerome and Betty Wright McRae was born on February 18, 1983 and departed this earthly life on Friday, August 11, 2017 in Marion County, South Carolina.

He attended the public schools system in Marion, South Carolina.  He graduated from Marion High School in 2003.  Byron had excellent artistic talents. He was a former employee of Smithfield Packaging in Smithfield, North Carolina.

Byron was one of Bethlehem’s children, where he was baptized at an early age.  He was an active member of the Children’s Choir and Ushered if needed.  He was a music lover and enjoyed “His” Sundays to sing.

Byron was preceded in death by his grandparents: Roosevelt and Flossie Wright.

Byron leaves to cherish the precious memories of his life ~ his son: Master Byron Wright Jr. of the home; his parents: Betty and Jerome McRae; two brothers: Brandon Campbell of the home and Barrick Wright of Florence, SC; his special niece and nephew: Ky’Heim Bethea of the home and Jaynia Scott of Marion, SC; four aunts: Linda (Randy) Scott of Marion, SC, Cynthia Green of Durham, NC, Patty (Peter) McNatt of Florence, SC and Brenda (Broadus) Jamerson of Orangeburg, SC; two uncles: Larry Wright of Arlington, VA and Roger Wright of Germany, his very special cousins/friends: DJ Wilson, Keith Wilson, Patrick Hodge, Devon Cooper, Shamalle and Shaunte Mullins, Tank Scott, Mack Lambert, Anthony Davis, Don Campbell, CJ Bristow, Chad Howard, Brandon Woods and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
