Baron Donnell Balloon

Brother Baron Donnell Balloon was 42, and departed this life Sunday January 19, 2020 in Columbia, SC. He was the son of Robert and Olivia Balloon. You may visit the family at 517 Todds School Road, Mullins. 

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Nazarene Baptist Church Monday January 27, 2020 at 2:00 pm. He will be laid to rest in the  Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Marion. 

~ Obituary ~

Baron Donnell Balloon son of Robert and Olivia Balloon was born on May 15, 1977 in Marion, SC. On Sunday January 19, 2020 baron entered into eternal life at Richland memorial hospital in Columbia, SC. Baron was a high school graduate of the class of 1996 for Marion High School. He currently worked at Sparks Toyota Automotive in Myrtle Beach, SC. He contributed many years of his life working at the Marion County Library, Arvin Meritor, Sunoco, Kwik Fill, Hardees, McDonalds, and Shine Studios. 

When Baron was not working he enjoyed spending his time singing in the choir at his home church of Nazarene Baptist Church in Mullins, SC and with family and friends. Baron left behind three siblings Melita Balloon of Marion, SC. Robert Balloon Jr. of Marion, SC, and Marquita (Travis) Wall of Newport News, Va. Nephews Travis Wall Jr. and Trae ‘on Wall also of Newport News, Va.

Baron’s memories will be cherished by some of his closest family and friends: Aunt Carrie (Howard) Thomas of Columbia, SC. Dr. Rondrick Williamson of Atlanta, Ga. Terrence (Valerie) Williamson and family of Columbia, SC. Antron Lewis of Georgetown, SC. Fredrick Abrams and family of Marion, SC. Gloria Funny and Leslie Roberts of Marion, SC. Gloria Armour and family of Columbia, SC. And many many more.
