Mother Annie Leonard Bristow, 92, departed this life Wednesday August 7, 2019 in Marion County. She was the mother of Lenneau Bristow Jr., Annie M. Williams, Beatrice B. Lester, Charles Bristow, Alonzo Bristow, Lottie B. Bethea, Henry Bristow, Asilee B. Leonard and Betty Jo Bristow. You may visit the family at 937 Hughes Ct. Marion.
Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Marion. Sunday August 11, 2019 at 3:00 pm. She will be laid to rest in the Jobs Cemetery, Marion.

Mrs. Annie Leonard Bristow, daughter of the late Alonzo and Margaret Leonard, was born on May 31, 1927 in Marion, South Carolina. She departed this life on august 7, 2019 at MUSC Health Marion South Carolina.
Annie was educated in the Marion County Training School and was employed at Russell Stover Candies for many years until retirement. At an early age, Annie decided to follow Jesus. She attended Sandy Grove Holiness Church, which she later became a member of New Beginnings Temple of Praise, where she attended faithfully as well until her health began to fail.
She met and married Lenneau Bristow Sr. whom preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death are her grandparents; Ed and Betty Reaves, three brothers: Alonzo Leonard Jr., Willie Leonard and Johnny Ellis and one sister: Louise Leonard Lennon.
She leaves to cherish her fond and loving memories her nine children: Annie Margaret Williams, Betty Joe Bristow both of the home, Lenneau (Maxine) Bristow, Jr., Beatrice (Abraham) Lester, Charles Bristow, Alonzo (Linda) Bristow, Lottie (Joe) Bethea, Henry (Rita) Bristow, Asilee (Micheal) Leonard all of Marion, SC. two sisters: Lizzie Ruth Lawson of Jupiter, FL and Joann Raeford of North Carolina, three grandchildren: Tomeka (Charles) Hughes, Marquette Bristow, Cassandra (Wlima) Godbolt, she raised in the home as her own, as well as a host of loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and church family.
