Aaron Phillips

Brother Aaron Phillips 68, departed this life Monday November 11, 2019 in Marion County. He was the husband of Barbara Phillips and the father of Bridgit Phillips, Portia Phillips and Cassandra Phillips. You may visit the family at 4613 Willow Court, Mullins.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel, Monday November 18, 2019 at 12:00 pm. He will be laid to rest in the Smithboro Cemetery, Fork.

~ Obituary ~

Aaron Phillips, son of the late Isabelle and Willie Phillips was born August 28, 1951 in Marion, SC. He quietly took his exit on Monday November 11, 2019 at MUSC Medical Center in Marion, SC. He was preceded in his death by his brother Steven A. Bethea and sister Rose Mary Bethea.

Aaron attended public schools of Dillon County and completed grade school at Lake View School. At an early age Aaron took on responsibility of working and providing for his family. Aaron worked as a farmer most of his life and there’s nothing else that he loved more than his tractor. He was loved by so many and his jokes would lighten up any room. 

Aaron leaves to cherish his wife, Barbara Ann Lewis Phillips of Mullins, SC. Three daughters, Bridgit Phillips of Columbia, SC, Portia Phillips of Mullins, SC, and Cassandra Phillips of Mullins, SC; Four brothers Pete (Pat) Phillips of Maryland, Levern (Eunice) Bethea of Georgia, Steve ( Wilma) Bethea of Texas, Dock Bethea Jr. of Washington; two sisters Jeanette Phillips of Latta, SC and Golder Stother of Maryland. A very special grandson Eden DeWitt. Dear friends Franklin Johnson and Harry Davis and a host or devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and close friends.
