Sis. Yolanda MiShelia Reed Williamson 52, departed this life on Thursday October 5, 2017 in Florence, SC. She was the wife of Lawrence Williamson III and the mother of Gavin Reed and Lawrence Reed. You may visit the family at 100 James Court, Marion, SC. 

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Greater Highway Church of Christ, Saturday October 7, 2017 at 11:00am. She will be laid to rest in the Devotion Gardens Cemetery, Mullins. 

“He that dwelleth in the  secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty.” Psalm 91:1

Mrs. Yolanda McSheila Reed Williamson transitioned into eternal rest Thursday October 5, 2017 at the McLeod Regional Center, Florence, SC. “Sheila” as she was affectionately called was born on July 26, 1965 to Mrs. Willie Mae Samuel in Marion County, South Carolina. “Sheila” was reared by her grandparents the late Deacon Andrew and Nancy W. Reed and the late Lawrence H. Samuel.

“Sheila” attended Marion High School with the class of 1983. She was employed at Sopakco in Mullins, SC, Capstar Industries, Marion, SC. She was employed at Tiger Mart for over 10 years as Kitchen Manager until her health failed.

“Sheila” was united in Holy matrimony to Lawrence Williamson III on August 10, 1984. This union was blessed with two children. “Sheila” was a faithful and dedicated member of the Greater Highway Church of Christ, Marion, SC., “Sheila” was baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins.  She served on the Usher Board, Kitchen Committee, and the Ambassadors for Christ Choir.

“Sheila” was blessed with natural beauty and a beautiful personality. She loved cooking and serving people. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking and serving them. She could cook the best catfish stew. “Sheila” will be missed and was much loved by her family.

“Sheila” leaves to cherish memories of her life her husband: Lawrence Williamson III of Marion, two sons: Gavin Leisha (Shataya) Reed of Dillon, SC, Lawrence Chadwick Reed of Myrtle Beach, SC: her grand children Tayala Reed, Kressida Reed, Mikail Israel, Lauren Reed, Zy’Mere Reed, Kendall Reed, Carter Reed; her mother, Mrs. Willie Mae Samuel of the home and her sister Ms. Nikki Jawane Samuel also of the home; uncles; Billy Reed, Andrew M. Reed and Donnie L. Reed all of Marion, SC,; Mr. Joshua Samuel and Stephen (Vicky) Samuel of Marion SC; one great uncle Mr. McFadden Williams; aunts; Brenda R. Shaw, Yvonne R. Graves and Joyce R. (Preston) Moore, Willie Mae Foxworth, Esther Brunson, Patsy Moses, Laura Samuel, Carla Samuel, Sandra (Bobby) Livingston all of Marion SC, and Sheila Bellamy of Roanoke, Va; mother in law; Mrs. Ella Mae Williamson; sister in law ; Yvonne (Nemeiah) Hannah, Verna Mae (Mitchell) James all of Marion County; brother in laws; Willie James Williamson, Tommy Williamson of Marion, SC; Mathew Williamson of Loris, SC and Derrick (Tammy) Williamson, of Conyers Georgia; special cousins; Valerie Weaver, Cheron Bell, Whitney Moore and Eartha Davis; other sisters and brothers; Tammy Todd, Lisa Green, Kelly Green, Connie (George) Burgess, Teresa Wilson and Michael Green Jr. Special friends Tina Swinton, Alicia Jones, Jerri Crawford Rowell and Patricia Robinson and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins other relative and friends.
