Bro. Wilma Godbolt Jr. 65, departed this life on Friday July 28, 2017 in the Carolina Hospital System, Florence. He was the husband of Beverly Godbolt. You may visit the family of at 2315 Wilma Court, Mullins in the Rains Community. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:30pm Thursday August 3, 2017 at the New Greater Singletary AME Church in the Wahee Community. He will be laid to rest in the New Greater Singletary AME Church Cemetery.

Mr. Wilma Godbolt Jr. was born on July 8, 1953 in Marion County to the late Wilma and Louise Godbolt.

He was a member of the New Hope Holiness Church, Mullins, SC. He was a graduate of Terrell’s Bay High School Class of 1976. He worked at Glen’s Sportswear, Marion SC and the SC Department of Transportation.

He was preceded in death by his parents Wilma and Louise Godbolt, brothers Levern Godbolt and James (Geraldine) Godbolt, his in-laws Rev. Tillman and Lena Sanders, sister-n-law Reather Mae Sparks, four uncles and two aunts.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of forty five years Beverly Ann Sanders, three sons Kenny Godbolt of the home, Jimmy Godbolt, Mullins, SC and Wilma (Cassandra) Godbolt III, Columbia SC, one daughter Christina Godbolt of the home, one brother Arthur Lee (Michelle) Godbolt, Mullins, SC, four sisters; Beulah Mae (Auther) McCummings, Mullins, SC, Lizzie Mae (James) Davis, Mullins, SC, Cora Louise Legette, Mullins, and Betty Jean Pee, Mullins, SC., eleven grandchildren, one aunt, step mother-n-law Bernice Sanders, North Myrtle Beach, SC, brothers-n-law Arthur (Linda) Davis, Marion, SC., and Joe L. Sparks, Marion, SC., sisters-n-law Rev. Pauline Godbolt, Mullins, SC., and Rev. Mildred Watson, Marion, SC., and a host of other relatives and friends.
