Bro. Willie Lee Ellison 50, departed this life on Friday September 15, 2017 in Marion County. He was the son of Sarah Lee Knowlin. You may visit the family at 925-C Jones Ave. Marion.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm Friday September 20, 2017 at the New Greater Deliverance Church For All People 113 Martin Luther King Jr, Blvd, Marion. He will be laid to rest in the Jackson & Daughters Cemetery, Marion.

Willie “Took” Ellison was born on August 6, 1967 in Marion County, South Carolina. He departed this life on September 15, 2017 where he resided.

He’s the son of Sarah L. Knowlin and the late David Williams.

“Took” was educated in Marion County Public Schools. He was very talented with his hands. He was a talented barber and carpenter,

He was preceded in death by one aunt Vivian Wall, one uncle David Wall, also four more uncles preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother; Sarah L. Knowlin of Marion SC, one brother David Moore of Marion, SC, one sister Debbie Moore of Detroit, Mich., three aunts Mrs. Cellestine Green of Elizabethtown, NC, Ms. Judy Knowlin of Conway, SC, and Jackie (Levern) Muldrow of Florence, SC; two uncles Mr. James (Angela) Knowlin of Dillon, SC, and Mr. John F. (Jennifer) Knowlin of Marion, SC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
