Bro. Wendell Brunson 63, departed this life on Tuesday May 16, 2017 in Florence, SC. He was the father of Russell Brunson, Alisa Brunson, Felicia Brunson and Patricia Graves. You may visit the family at 5134 Alice Ave. Centenary, SC. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm Monday May 22, 2017 at the House of God Church, Centenary, SC. He will be laid to rest in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Marion, SC.

Wendell Brunson, known to many as "Session" departed this life on Tuesday May 16, 2017 in the McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence, SC. He was born on September 26, 1953 to the late Charlie Brunson and Addie B. (McKinley) Legette of Centenary, SC.

Wendell was a 1974 graduate of Rains Centenary High School. He was employed with Wellman Industries for 32 years and retired October 2016. He as a member of the House of God Church in Centenary, SC.

Wendell had a love for horses and sports. He had a very humble, loving and caring spirit, a heart for helping and giving to whomever needed. He will truly be missed by all his family and friends.

Wendell was preceded in death by four brother: Harold Legette, McKinley Legette, Jr., Leo Davis and Charles Brunson; two sisters; Mamie Brunson and Listerine Woodberry.

Wendell leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories; one son; Russell Brunson, three daughters; Alisa Brunson, Felicia Brunson both of Centenary, SC and Patricia (Terry) Graves of Gresham SC; five grandchildren; Ty'Asia, Yasmine, Allen, Carmen Reed and JeJuan Woodberry, four brother and five sisters; Mattie Legette, Ralph Brunson, Diane Brunson, Eisenhower Legette, Charlene Brunson and Geneva Wingate all of Centenary, SC. Harry (Jean) Legette, Larry (Diane) Legette of Marion, SC and Priscilla Legette of Gresham, SC, one brother-in-law; Jerome Woodberry Sr., of Gresham SC, one sister-in-law Margaret Davis of Marion, SC; two great aunts; Ms. Daisy Washington and Ms. Lyndora Legette both of Chester, PA., special friends Jerome Foxworth, Francis Jean Gibson, LaRue Sellers, and Floyd Hemingway and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
