Bro. Kelby Swinton-Moore 20, departed this life on Saturday July 8, 2017 in Asheville NC. He was the son of Kelby Moore and Felicia Swinton, the grandson on Min. Elizabeth Swinton and the brother of Kelesha Swinton-Moore, Kichina Swinton, and Kelbre Moore.

Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00noon Saturday July 15, 2017 at the Nazarene Baptist Church 2037 Old Stage Rd. Mullins, SC 29574. He will be laid to rest in the Nazarene Baptist Church Cemetery, Mullins.

Psalm 23:6 “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever~Amen

On Saturday July 8, 2017 God saw fit to call home to rest Kelby Ishmael Swinton Moore. He was born August 23, 1996 to Felicia Swinton and Kelby Moore in Asheville, North Carolina. He attended the schools pf Marion County South Carolina and Buncombe County, North Carolina.

As a child, Kelby attended Nazarene Baptist Church, accepting the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and baptized on May 28, 2006. He was a member of the Youth Choir and the Brotherhood, where he participated in activities involving the young boys and men of the church.

He participated in Mullins Area Recreational football and basketball and carried on his love for sports when he moved back to Asheville. Kelby had a natural love for children and spent a lot of time with his young cousins.

Kelby leaves to cherish his loving memories his mother and father, Felicia Swinton and Kelby Moore both of Asheville, North Carolina, his sisters Kichina Swinton and Kelesha Swinton Moore of Mullins South, a brother Xavier Swinton of Asheville North Carolina, grandmother Rev. Elizabeth Swinton of Mullins , South Carolina and Mattie Moore of Asheville North Carolina, uncles Willie Lee Swinton, Tony Swinton, James Eric Swinton and Christopher Moore all of Asheville North Carolina, aunts Tammy Swinton, Penny Swinton, Avis Swinton and Mecca Moore all of Asheville, North Carolina. Great aunts; Edna Smith and Gracie Davis of Mullins, South Carolina, great uncles; Willie (Winnie), Roosevelt (Leola), Charles, Andrew (Cynthia), Albert (Betty) McClain all of Mullins South Carolina, and Paul Howell of Asheville North Carolina. Special cousins, Sterlin Swinton, Domanik Austin, Deshone Austin, Darrion Davis, Shytiqual Swinton, LaMtrey Swinton, and Quantika Swinton, and a host of cousins, relatives and friends. two best friends, Jaia Grant and Sattorrius Uddyback both of Asheville North Carolina. Also cherishing his memory is his special friend Carlysheyona Smith of Asheville North Carolina.
