Bro. George Raysor,74, departed this life on Saturday March 17, 2018 in Marion County. He was the husband of Janice Raysor. You may visit the family at 2721 Height Road, Mullins.
Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Canaan Land Revival Temple 2319 Rhedin Rd., Marion, Friday March 23, 2018 at 2:00pm.

George Raysor son of the late Julius and Lila Raysor was born on September 17, 1943 in Seller, SC. He was called to eternal rest on Saturday March 17, 2018 at Carolina Hospital Systems of Marion, SC.
He attended the public schools in Marion County, SC. George was a farmer and was employed with Baxley Farms for fifty years.
He accepted Christ at an early age. He was a member of New Life Pentecostal Holiness Church, Rains, SC then became an active member of Canaan Land Revival Temple in Marion, SC . There he was a Trustee and Base Guitarist until his health failed.
George was a great gospel singer and bass guitarist for several groups over the years. Marion Hummingbirds, Marion Gospel Singers of Marion, The Supreme Jubilees and Gospel Inspirations both of Mullins, SC.
George was preceded in death by three sisters; Grace ( Joshua) McCall, Maggie Mar (Julius) James, Louise Robinson and one brother; Robert Raysor.
George leaves to cherish fond and loving memories his wife; Janice L. Raysor of the home; two children; Jennifer Raysor of Rains, SC. George Jason (Ronneisha) Raysor of Fayetteville, NC, four children her reared as his own; Cynthia (Alan) Whitney of Marion, SC, Melissa L. McFadden of Florence, SC, Cpt. Maurice (Yolanda) Leonard of Ft. Lee, VA and Ainsworth Leonard of Orlando Fl.; sister; Lillian Raysor; brother; Julius Raysor Jr. both of Sellers, SC; sister-n-law; Roxanne Raysor of NY; brother-n-law; Frank Robinson of Mullins, SC; sixteen grandchildren; one great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
