Mr. Freddie Williamson 83, departed this life on Saturday October 14, 2017 at his home in the Rains Community. He was the father of Gwendolyn Williamson, Freddie Williamson Jr., Deloris Wishom, Darlene Jackson, Melissa L. McFadden, Andre Williamson, Alycia Williamson, Beatrice Travers-Brown, and Fredrick Williamson.You may visit the family of Mr. Freddie Williamson at 2615 Green Court, Mullins, in the Rains Community.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held at the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church on Friday October 20, 2017 at 1:00pm. He will be laid to rest in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Freddie George Williamson, the son of late Rev. Lawrence Sr. and Cora B. Williamson was born on October 2, 1934 in Marion, SC.

He was called to eternal rest on October 14, 2017 at his home in Rains, SC.

He attended the public schools in Marion, SC.

Freddie was a Master Carpenter in Washington, DC and Marion, SC.

Freddie was preceded in death by his wife Rose Ella Johnson Williamson, a daughter Dianne Shannon, and a son George Wallace Williamson.

He was also proceeded in death by two sisters Ruth Williamson James of Brooklyn, NY;  Theresa (Doll Baby) Williamson Nolly of Brooklyn, NY. Four brothers: Jacob Williamson of Bennettsville, SC; Benjamin (BJ) Williamson of Marion, SC; James Williamson of Marion, SC and Lawrence Williamson Jr. of Bennettsville, SC.  

Freddie leaves to cherish fond memories, nine children: Gwendolyn Williamson of Winston-Salem, NC; Freddie Jr. (Gail) Williamson of Rome, NY; Deloris (Richard) Wishom of Pataskala, OH; Darlene (Charles) Jackson of Pataskala, OH; Melissa L. McFadden of Florence, SC; Andre (Colette) Williamson of Clinton, MD; Alycia Williamson of Marion, SC; Beatrice (Kin) Brown of Silver Springs, MD; Frederick (Doris Jean) Williamson of Myrtle Beach, SC and a special friend Ellen Buckner of Washington, DC.

Four sisters: Margret Williamson Crawford of Mullins, SC; Mildred Pressley of Rains, SC; Cora W. Brown of Mullins, SC; Betty (Harry) Wright of Cleburne, TX. Two brothers: Bishop Levi (Evelyn) Williamson of NC; Levice Hugene Williamson of Rains, SC. Eight sisters-in-law: Ella Mae Williamson of Rains, SC, Joyce Williamson Lewis of Rains, SC, Mildred Williamson of Mullins, SC; Wanda Nichols of Mullins, SC, Janie Mae Freeman of Mullins, SC, Patricia (David) Williams of GA, Lillian (Johnnie) Streets of Lancaster, SC and Melva Dean Johnson of Washington, DC. One aunt Juanita Williamson, 24 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
